Barrett 50' Livestock Trailer
NOTE: Our Barrett 50' livestock trailer kits and models are currently not in stock nor in production. We anticipate production runs in the future but we do not have a definite schedule at present.
Our Barrett Livestock trailer is modeled from a 50' prototype. This trailer was designed and introduced in 1983 and still produced today. The trailer has had one major option design change and that is in regard to the large holes on each panel that are used as hand holes during livestock loading and unloading. Based on end user requests, Barrett added an option for four hand holes per panel in the 1990s. Also during this time Barrett changed the graphics package on this trailer utilizing a new logo and model name, "Eagle". Both two and four hand hole options can still be ordered from the factory today. The two hole pattern is still offered today but more common on new orders is the four hand hole design. The early style on our model #4105 utilizes two hand holes and the older logo with no red/white conspicuity stripes representing a 1983 model. Our late style model #4205 utilizes four hand holes, the Eagle logo, and red/white conspicuity stripes. This version would be more appropriate for 1990s onward. Both of these models represent double deck trailers used primarily for transporting cattle.
